Researcher-Professor of the Department of Computer Science at the Center for Research in  Mathematics (Centro de Investigación en Matematicas A.C., CIMAT).

Main interests are:

• Image Analysis and Processing
  
• Medica Imaging
• Computer Vision
• Optical Metrology

He works in edge-preserving regularization techiques for image restoration (image denoising, optical flow, edge detection). He also works in fringe analysis algorithms (phase recovering and phase unwrapping) for interferometric tests.
