Hugo Mitre-Hernandez has a Ph.D. Degree in Computer Science and Technology from the Carlos III University of Madrid in Spain (2010) and a master’s degree in Computer Science and Technology from the Carlos III University of Madrid in Spain (2006). He received a bachelor’s degree in Informatics from the Technological Institute of Culiacan in México (2003). He is a member of the National System of Researchers in Mexico (SNI) level 2, a researcher at the Research Center for Mathematics (CIMAT) Zacatecas, Mexico. He was the Coordinator of the MSc oriented to Robotics (May 2021 - May 2023, https://mcr.cimat.mx/), and the Master in Software Engineering (May 2019 to Oct 2020, https://mis.cimat.mx/). Dr. Mitre has participated in private and public projects related to Human-Machine Interaction (HMI), Software Engineering and Eye-tracking. His current areas of research are HMI, affective computing, cognitive states recognition and eye-tracking.
