Héctor M. Becerra received the
PhD degree in the Department of Computer Science and Systems
Engineering of the Univerity of
Zaragoza, Spain, in 2011. His PhD research was
done in the Robotics and Real Time Group of the University of Zaragoza
under the supervision of Prof. Carlos Sagüés and Dr. Gonzalo López-Nicolás.
He joined at CIMAT in June 2012 as an associate researcher and he is a full
researcher since May 2016. He is Senior Member of the IEEE and member of the
Mexican National System of Researchers (SNI), as level 2. His research interests
include applications of control theory to robotics, particularly the use of
computer vision as main sensory modality for feedback control of mobile robots.
