My research area is algebraic topology. I am interested in homotopical group theory, H-spaces, classifying spaces of groups and generalizations, topological K-theory and equivariant homotopy invariants of spaces with group actions. For more details, click on the publications tab. My research was partially supported by the SEP-CONACYT Basic Science Project 242186: Homotopical aspects of compact Lie groups during the period 2015-2019.

I am an editor for the journal Abstraction & Application. This is an electronic journal supported by the Department of Mathematics of the Autonomous University of Yucatán. His goal is to communicate high-quality works in the areas of computer science, physics and mathematics, which can be research articles, panoramic papers, or documents of general academic content. This is a strict peer-review journal. The proposed documents can be written in English or Spanish. Please submit your manuscripts following the recommendations here.

I organize the Algebraic Topology seminar at CIMAT Mérida. Contact me if you would like to participate.

My students Juan Omar Gómez and Víctor Torres are organizing a virtual algebraic topology seminar. Please contact them if you are interested in participating.

I am a member of the Mexican Mathematical Society and an affiliate member of the American Mathematical Society.
