I am a member of CIMAT Mérida's algebraic topology group. I am interested in homotopical group theory, H-spaces, classifying spaces of groups and generalizations, topological K-theory and equivariant homotopy invariants of spaces with group actions. My research is currently supported by CONAHCYT Frontier Science Grant CF-2023-I-2649: Hidden symmetries in algebra and topology, since 2024. For more details, click on the publications tab.

I organize the Algebraic Topology seminar at CIMAT Mérida. Contact me if you would like to participate.

Do you wish to know more about the M.Sc. and Ph.D. programs in pure mathematics at CIMAT and about the way the members of CIMAT Mérida participate in these programs? Contact me for details.

I am a member of the Mexican Mathematical Society and an affiliate member of the American Mathematical Society. I also belong to the Registry of researchers, technologists and science liaisons of the state of Yucatan.

I am organizing with José Carlos Gómez Larrañaga, José Luis León, Kathryn Lindsey and Bernardo Villarreal the CIMAT-Mérida Applied Topology School that will take place from November 7th to 12th at CIMAT Mérida.
